The 7th of October changed our lives. The impact of such a traumatic event and ongoing war leaves no one untouched. When pregnancy and early postpartum become intertwined, the experience can become even more complex and overwhelming. In response to this unique challenge, I've created a course designed to provide you with valuable tools to cope with the trauma.

I'm a doula and birth educator who moved to Israel from Germany. I live with my sons and husband in Jerusalem.
I'm also a certified B.O.T. facilitator and offer trauma-informed care. This course I created to support expectant and new parents in Israel during these challenging times.
Welcome to this course. After some welcoming words, I invite you to participate in a 20-minute exercise for releasing, relaxing, allowing your body and nervous system to do what they need to do, and creating resources to help you feel grounded again!
Feeling support and connection, but also knowing when to seek professional support, are crucial in these times. That's why there is a WhatsApp group for this course, and you can find more information on how and when to access support in this chapter.
Release, resources, and relaxation are elemental parts of dealing with trauma. Here, you can find short exercises. I plan to add short videos to the exercises to make it easier to follow them soon, be'h.
Navigating decisions in these times can be quite a challenge. I'd like to share a tool with you for making decisions. It's beneficial to take your time and go through the steps of writing and organizing your thoughts and papers as thoroughly as possible. I realize this can be a bit tricky, especially if you have small children at home, so do it as much as you can. Each step has its logic, helping you tap into your senses and gain a deeper understanding of what's right for you.
